...with an understated sophistication best describes the Lodge. Fitting to the Karoo-colonial style, expansive patios provide insulation from the hot summer days, and cold winters when the snow lies high on the mountains above the Lodge. Guests are welcome to browse through the books in the library, catch up on the day's news on satellite TV in the lounge, enjoy a cup of coffee in the dining area or relax beside the crystal clear pool. The large and welcoming farm-style kitchen invites culinary activity, and easily accommodates multiple chefs. The kitchen table seats eight whilst the diningroom seating is flexible and comfortably accommodates 12. The outside braai area looks up to the stunning mountain scenery, and easily accommodates a large group.
Spacious bedrooms provide the perfect retreat, with their décor inspired by the flora and fauna of the region. Extra-length beds are made up twin, or king, and sleeper couches in the larger rooms can accommodate children without compromising spaciousness. All rooms have private patios; two rooms have full en-suite bathrooms and three have en-suite showers. Rooms are equipped with all linen and towels, tea/coffee making facilities, bar fridges, personal safes, heaters, electric blankets, ceiling fans, hairdryers, luxury gowns and toiletries.
